New Hotel Coming Near The Hard Rock Bristol

With major resort developments, local communities have come to hope for / expect additional projects to pop up once construction begins.  The Hard Rock Bristol has opened its casino in a temporary location while the full resort gets built, and other companies are moving in.

A new hotel is set to be developed right near the site of the future resort, according to the Bristol Herald Courier.  While the type of hotel hasn’t been confirmed yet, the business that owns the project (KM-Bristol Hotel LLC) is strongly considering the Marriott Residence Inn brand for the location.

The hotel will be located on a section of land approximately 2 1/2 acres between Texas Roadhouse and the former Cabela’s location in The Falls development, just off Interstate 81.

“We’re all along the 81 corridor. We like the 81 corridor, the traffic, the business,” KM representative Sunny Patel said after the meeting. “The biggest thing in Bristol is obviously the casino helps, Amtrak helps but the speed Bristol is growing at, we wanted to get into the market.”

This would obviously be a boon for those looking to try out the Hard Rock Casino, because right now the options for lodging are limited.  The Hard Rock Bristol hotel isn’t scheduled for completion until sometime in 2024, and currently, there’s a dearth of newer hotel properties for guests looking to visit the area.

So, for those of you holding onto gobs of Marriott Bonvoy points, you may have a chance to cash them in and stay near the Hard Rock for free!  For those who have had the pleasure of visiting the beautiful Harrah’s Cherokee Resort and Casino, this has a familiar feel to it.  There’s a Marriott branded Fairfield Inn just across the street for the people who don’t want to pay the really high nightly rates, particularly on the weekends.

Wherever you choose to stay, may Lady Luck be on your side throughout your visit!
