Bristol’s Hard Rock Casino Is Hiring And Paying Well

The Hard Rock Casino in Bristol, Virginia has announced a new hiring initiative to help fill its hundreds of open positions and it’s great news for local job seekers.  Hard Rock has announced a nationwide pay increase for its workforce, with starting wages rising by as much as 60% for some positions.  Effective with the change, entry-level team members at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol will start at $18 an hour.  That’s $7 over the state minimum wage of $11 per hour.  This represents a $100 million investment nationwide for all of the company’s employees.

The Hard Rock in Bristol is shaping up to be a nice getaway option for those in the Raleigh-Durham Triangle area.  It’s a 3.5 to 4-hour drive from there.  If you live in the Charlotte area, it’s only about 3 hours away.  That’s not as close to Charlotte as the Kings Mountain Casino that just opened in 2021, or the Harrah’s Cherokee Casino, which just celebrated its 25th birthday.  Still, it’s nice to have options!
