The Big M Casino Yacht In Myrtle Beach

Just a short drive from Myrtle Beach and several NC cities, The Big M Casino is a creative way to get your gamble on in the South.  Sailing out of Little River, SC, the Big M gives you a short cruise out to international waters, at which time you can enjoy the slots and table games available and try to win big!

There’s probably 100+ slot machines of varying games and betting amounts, and table games include Blackjack, Craps, and Roulette.

While there’s actually two ships in the fleet, currently only Ship II (the newer one) is up and running.  During peak season from May – November, you’ll have a morning cruise or an evening cruise available six days a week.  The Big M usually doesn’t cruise on Monday.  The morning cruise runs from 11 AM – 4 PM, and the evening cruise goes from 6 PM – 11 PM.  In the offseason, you’ll still probably have cruises available six days a week, but the evening timeslot is only available on weekends.

It’s $20 to set sail and take your chances.  Or, you can pay $30 and get a meal included with your ticket.  That gets you an 8″ sub with chips and a soft drink.  There’s other meal options available, too.  Visit The Big M dining page for more info.  Don’t expect a big selection – they have to make room for all the games on the boat!  They used to have more food on a buffet, but that’s not an option right now.

What’s Inside The Big M Casino?

Besides the aforementioned slots, there’s gonna be 8 blackjack tables open along with some roulette tables.  Blackjack tables range from $10 – $50 minimum bets.  Roulette tables have a $5 minimum.  There’s also a Let It Ride and a 3 Card Poker table, each with $10 minimum bets.  The boat can only fit so much, so unfortunately, you won’t find other table games like Pai Gow Poker or Baccarat on The Big M.

The Big M Casino Smoking Policy

Smoking is allowed onboard The Big M, but you’ve gotta do it on the outside decks.  Also, note that E-Cigs, vaping and chewing tobacco are NOT permitted.

Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic Drinks

Alcohol is served on the casino floor and you can belly up to the bar and get them yourself, too.  However, unlike Vegas casinos, drinks aren’t free.  The prices aren’t bad, though.  Domestic beers are $3, glasses of wine and house drinks are $5, and top shelf mixed drinks are $7.  There’s non-alcoholic beverages like water, coffee, soft drinks available, too.

What Are Some Things To Know Before I Set Sail On The Big M?

Keep in mind the following if you’re planning to board The Big M for some gaming:

• All passengers must be at least 21 years old to sail.  Photo ID is required at check-in.

• Dress code is casual, but no swimwear, offensive material, visible undergarments, torn or soiled clothing, and visible offensive tattoos are allowed.  Yes, it’s Myrtle Beach, but try and look just a little bit presentable.  Shirts and shoes are required at all times.

• No guns, knives or weapons are allowed on board.  Keep that stuff at home.  No outside food or beverages are allowed, either.  No photos are allowed in the Casino at any time.

• Women who are 24 weeks or further pregnant may be refused passage.

• Cruises will be canceled for high winds and seas.  Safety first!
