New Hard Rock Casino In Bristol, VA Is Open!
Only 20 miles from the North Carolina border in Bristol, Virginia, there’s a new Hard Rock Casino now open, with over 800 slot machines, plus blackjack and craps tables with live dealers. After taking over an old mall, there’s some big plans in store for the property. Hard Rock expects to spend $400 million to add a full resort property with a ton of dining options, rooms and suites to enjoy your stay, and all the unique trappings you’d expect from a Hard Rock location. Officials expect the full blown resort to open sometime in 2024.
Currently, there are 3 restaurants on the property to serve you. There’s contemporary cuisine from Mr. Lucky’s, with pastas, salads, soups, steaks, seafood and chef specialties. You can grab a quick pizza or other Italian fare from Brick’d. Then, there’s the Bristol Bar, right by the sportsbook area. You can view all of the Bristol Hard Rock Casino dining options here.
If you’re interested in taking a trip, check out the Unity Rewards program by Hard Rock. Unity lets you earn rewards while staying, dining, shopping, gaming and basically spending any kind of money while you’re on the property. You can get free gaming, discounts on dining, complimentary valet service and more.
The Hard Rock in Bristol will be a great option for those in the Raleigh-Durham Triangle area, with about a 3.5 to 4 hour drive. Folks living in the Greensboro and Piedmont Triad area can get to Bristol in about 3 hours. It’s also about 3 hours from Charlotte, but of course you’ve got options more close by like the new Kings Mountain Casino that just opened and the glamorous Harrah’s Cherokee Casino, which is celebrating its 25th birthday in 2022.
If you’re looking for more options, but you still don’t want to trek all the way to Vegas to try your luck, check out all the other casinos in NC and just across the border.
