Caesars Virginia In Danville Is Hiring Big Time
As we previously reported, Caesars Entertainment is building a casino and resort in Danville, Virginia. The plans boast of hundreds of hotel rooms, a casino, sportsbook area, restaurants, and an entertainment venue. Construction is ongoing, but when it’s all built up, that’s gonna take a lot of people to run the place. There are 400 open positions for the resort and casino just waiting to be filled.
You can review the open positions here. They need all sorts of people. Obviously, they’ll need dealers, casino floor supervisors, cage cashiers and the like. But, they also have internal needs, like marketing, internal accounting and auditing, and wardrobe positions.
No prior casino work experience is necessary. Caesars is willing to take on the time and expense to train its people to give them the skills needed to serve their customers – how refreshing! There’s a 12-week training program to teach Blackjack and other table games. The training lasts 4 hours a day, 5 days a week. There are multiple time slots available to fit most schedules. Graduates will be offered employment at the casino.
Caesars wants to open a temporary location at the end of 2023. The plan is to hold about 700 slot machines and 20 – 25 table games. So, they’re gonna need a lot of employees even before the full resort is up.
Chris Albrecht, the General Manager for Caesars Virginia said to the local news station, “We are looking for people that have a great attitude and great energy. People that are excited about coming to work with us. What we pride ourselves on is teaching the skills to work here. So we are looking for people with those personalities.”
